I have dreamt of having a small coffee shop and bed and breakfast for many years.  In my travels, it seemed a great cup of coffee was usually difficult to find.  Several years ago while travelling through Central America, I discovered a unique country called Belize.  I was intrigued by the beauty of the sea, the quaintness and relaxed atmosphere, and especially the friendliness of the people.  I was in deep like! 

 

I travelled back to Belize 10 months later to really look at what it would be like to live and work in a country that did not have all of the luxuries to which I was accustomed.  The best advice I received during that trip was to immerse myself in the culture and community before making any financial commitments.  And within the year I was back to San Pedro on a one way ticket! 

I met Rob just prior to that last trip.  I explained to him my plan and he was keen to join me on this crazy adventure.  We found the property where Marbucks Coffee House and Daydreamin Bed and Breakfast are now situated and began building about 6 months later.
We have been blessed with two successful businesses.  We have made fabulous friends, and we meet amazing people everyday.  Our staff are excellent in all they contribute.  Has it been easy?  No.  Has it been worthwhile? Yes.
